A Different Kind of Southern Charm: Charleston, SC
March 10-15, 2025
Trip Details: Join Dalton State's Alternative Spring Break trip with Youth Mission Co in Charleston, SC. Volunteers will participate in various community development and environmental projects. Potential projects include beach clean-ups, dolphin monitoring, water conservatory, meal services, grocery distribution, assisting with a Water Mission fundraiser, and learning more about foster care services. Each volunteer will complete at least 15 hours of volunteer hours over the week.
DSC Student Price: The total cost of the trip is $190. A $50 deposit is due at the time of booking to hold your spot. The remaining $140 is due by February 28th. Cost includes transportation, meals, housing, and one excursion.
Schedule: Full details of the week's schedule will be shared during two mandatory pre-departure meetings.

Please complete the following form to register for the Alternative SPRING Break Trip. Please note your spot on the trip will not be confirmed until your deposit has been made. The deposit for this trip is $50 and is non-refundable (unless not approved by the organization to attend). Deposits can be made via cash or check in the Office for Student Engagement and Belonging in the Pope Student Center. Payment plans are also available.
