Who We Are

We are a multi-service agency and a component of the United States Department of Agriculture dedicated to the maintenance and conservation of the National Forests of the United States of America.

What We Do

At the US Forest Service Conasauga Ranger District our goal is to conserve and maintain the public lands of the Chattahoochee National Forest, Specifically in the Chatsworth, Eton, Cisco, Ellijay, Dalton, Villanow, Silver Hill, Armuchee and Lafayette area. This is done to improve community interaction with the forest as well as to conserve and protect the local environment and habitats for wildlife flora and fauna.
