Cultivate Appalachia - Tryon, NC

October 11-14, 2024

Trip Details: Join Dalton State's Alternative Fall Break trip with Outdoor Connections in Tryon, NC.  Volunteers will participate in various environmental and sustainable farming projects. Each volunteer will complete at least 15 hours of service over the extended weekend. 

DSC Student Price: The total cost of the trip is $150. A $50 deposit is due at the time of booking to hold your spot. The remaining $100 is due by October 4. Cost covers the following: housing, meals, transportation, and one excursion.

Schedule: Full details of the week's schedule will be shared during two mandatory pre-departure meetings.

Please complete the following form to register for the Alternative Fall Break Trip. Please note that your spot on the trip is not confirmed until your deposit is made. Spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

The deposit is $50 and is non-refundable (unless not approved by the organization to attend). Deposits can be made in the Office for Student Engagement and Belonging in the Pope Student Center.
