Are you looking for a fun and impactful way to earn community service hours this season?
The Cohutta Celebrates America 250 Committee in Cohutta, GA, is holding the first ever Cohutta Town Fair as a part of a series of events to celebrate America’s Semiquincentennial. The fair will be held on May 2nd, 2026, and we are looking for energetic, responsible volunteers of all ages to help us bring a new community tradition to life. This is a fantastic opportunity to build leadership skills, beef up resumes, and give back to the area.
Why Join the Fair Crew?
Earn Hours: We provide official signed documentation for all service hours completed.
Build Skills: You will gain experience in event coordination, customer service, and teamwork.
Community Impact: Help provide a safe and fun environment for local families and children.
Student-Friendly Roles:
Game Booth Leads: Running carnival games and handing out prizes.
Social Media Team: Helping capture photos and videos of the fun.
Event Helpers: Helping at one of the many events we will have at the fair including a parade, blue ribbon contests, a beauty pageant, musical performances, a dunking booth, and more.
Entry Ambassadors: Selling tickets/arm bands, welcoming guests at the gates, and providing directions.
Parking Attendants: Providing direction in parking areas.
The "Green Team": Helping keep our fairgrounds clean and eco-friendly and helping tear down activities when they are over.

When: May 2nd, 2026, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Perks: All volunteers will receive a free fair t-shirt (if signing up by April 1st), free lunch provided by the community,
and free admission after their shift.
