Volunteer: Disaster Action Team Member (DAT)

Disaster Action Team (DAT) members are the people who volunteer their time to show up in the middle of the night (or whenever a large-scale or small-scale disaster strikes) with the fire department, in the event of a house or apartment fire, to make sure the victims’ immediate needs are satisfied. DAT members will also be trained to help in the event of a hurricane in your area to help those in need.
