Who We Are

The Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter is the leading volunteer health organization in Alzheimer’s disease care - serving 159 counties in Georgia with offices in Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Dalton, Macon, Savannah and Tifton. Our chapter has been serving Georgia communities since 1982 by providing local support groups, education classes and other local resources. Currently there are 140,000 Georgian's living with Alzheimer's and another 527,000 unpaid caregivers. By 2025, the number is expected to increase by almost 40%.

What We Do

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
