Greater Dalton Habitat for Humanity

Greater Dalton Habitat for Humanity envisions a community where everyone has a decent place to live. Without a decent place to live families can not flourish and children have a harder time in school. Habitat helps families achieve their dream of home ownership, building a community where everyone has a great place to call home. Through our Hand-Up Repair Program, we help elderly, disabled, and low income families make needed repairs to their homes.

Greater Dalton Habitat for Humanity helps provide housing for families in need of decent shelter. Habitat homes are not free but are interest-free mortgage homes that partner families help build through "sweat equity"(over 350 hours worth). Volunteers support our mission by helping to build alongside our partner families, helping in our ReStore, and by donating.
