Who We Are
We are the sexual assault center located in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. We serve Walker, Catoosa, and Dade Counties and we also serve any survivor victimized in the state of Georgia no matter where the individual lives. The purpose of this organization is to facilitate healing for victims of sexual assault/violence and their families through on-going crisis intervention services; to promote community awareness of the Center’s services; to educate our students and community about the nature of sexual assault – in terms of prevention as well as the need for support to its survivors; and, to foster strong partnerships with all agencies involved in dealing with sexual assault. We are a 24 hour center looking for volunteers to help us with our hotline and also office duties.
What We Do
We provide many services to our survivors and their families such as counseling, personal advocacy, court accompaniment, and forensic medical examinations to name a few. All of our services are free and confidential to survivors and their family members.
