Hospice offers an Internship to students in the field of Social Work. Interns will work along side our experienced Social Workers to gain actual work skills. Patients will be contacted and field work emphasized. CURRENTLY HAVE TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE.
Our volunteers receive:
- Training that covers the ins-and-outs of hospice care
- Opportunities to provide direct patient care or office administrative hours that support patient care.
- FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE – Volunteers choose when and how much time they’d like to volunteer.
Amedisys Hospice of Dalton serves the following counties: Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Gordon, Murray, Walker, and Whitfield.
